This site was establised in Nuuk back in 2003 by Ulrik, and now we “re-released” the site. We only build items we’d use ourselves! Taking into account all features you’d need the flexibility you’d need, and always, giving 100% FREE downloads!

Over on Facebook, MK-Studios has once again shared some previews of their highly anticipated upcoming scenery, Keflavik airport (BIKF). The previews show part of the terminal exterior, interior and jetway, all with PBR textures. Also shown is a small part of the apron, which features a nice little heap of shoveled snow. Please read the information below and the ReadMe of downloaded files carefully as it helps me to give a better support to users having real problems. Refer also to FAQ. 95 % of the normal questions are answered below, so don’t miss to read it. 😉

Sceneries for X-Plane 11

• X-EUROPE
  this is the newest project for X-Plane11, having all of the stuff below inside for Europe, OpenSceneryX library needed. It brings fantastic and stunning look to XP11
• VFR-Landmarks
  for standard scenery or HD Mesh Scenery v3 to improve the look of standard XP with generic visual objects like chimneys, towers, churches, castles and ruins, wind turbines, solar panel fields, flags, lighthouses, windmills, cranes, water towers, tanks, piers and boats, seamarks. Covers the whole world.
• VFR-Aerials
  generated from the OSM aerial ways like gondolas and lifts, for those who want to add these objects, e.g. helicopter pilots flying in the Alps.No additional library needed. Covers the whole world.
• VFR Add-ons
  available for Germany and some European countries these add-ons bring objects from the SketchUp 3D warehouse to your scenery, mainly sightseeing and other remarkable objects. Downloads are available under ‘VFR Addons‘.
• Forests
  This scenery replaces the forests of XP11 with forests, orchards, vineyards, tree lines and trees derived from OSM data. For the objects, original forests and trees of XP11 are used, so there is no additional library necessary.
• w2xp_Europe_net_XP11
  Normal flyers don’t need it!! It’s an unprocessed scenery generated with a beta tool having experimental status for roads! Recommend only together with w2xp sceneries, otherwise you have autogen objects on streets etc..
  No additional library needed.

Which sceneries are recommended for XP11?

Well, with the release of the X-EUROPE package, I recommend to use only this amazing scenery and to disable or delete all other things doing nearly the same.

Getting the best performance

Having the right order is very important to have the best result. For the order of sceneries in scenery_packs.ini, please refer to FAQ.

Disable the antivirus programm for all paths of X-Plane and all sceneries for reading. Make an exception for file protection (read mode) to exclude all paths. w2xp sceneries have a huge amount of files inside, this may result in a very large loading time if you don’t follow this.
