Hi all, I have a gridview with a column with serial number (boundfield). When user clicks on edit, I want to know the serial number of that row. How is that possible? Im using boundfield and not label because I do not wan to use templatefield. Any advice will be much appreciated. Hi I build computers and have a small asp.net webpage that I put in all the system components and their serial numbers which is then inserted into a SQL Database. Currently I just manually input the system serial number into the form I have. What I would like to do is everytime I go to input data for a new system, it displays the next serial number for that system on the page, that I fill in the information. This afternoon one of your rep server's inbound queue wasn't sending any records. The Sybase TS found there were lots of duplicates in the admin who,sqm output. He suggested we increase the gen_id for that database and it worked indeed. I was reading the doc about increasing the gen_id but I don't think I understand how that works and why it worked in our case. We never reload any database or any transaction onto the server yesterday but the we did stop the data server with abort yesterday. When the data server came online, the database was doing recovery 'rollforward...
